First 4 Figures is proud to introduce their latest PVC statue collectible, Dragon Slayer Ornstein SD. This is the third statue to release in the Dark Souls SD lineup.

Similar to our resin statue of Dragon Slayer Ornstein, the base replicates the pillars found in the Anor Londo Cathedral boss room. And Ornstein himself has a ton of textured details like the resin, from the intricate design of his armor and spear to the battle damage weathering found throughout the statue.

The statue's concept is inspired by one of Dragon Slayer Ornstein's moves during the boss fight. If you first defeat Executioner Smough, Ornstein ends up absorbing the strength of his fallen comrade and gains new abilities, one of which is an aerial attack. Upon landing, he releases a powerful electric shockwave, which is what we incorporated with this statue. And with the Exclusive Edition, these lightning effects have LED lights in them with two modes—static and animated—adding even more life to this piece.

Floating right above her is her Divine Instrument, the fiery Reflector, which she uses as a weapon to fend of evil. Formerly known as the revered Shiranui, master of all Celestial Brush techniques, she reincarnates a century later as the weakened Amaterasu after being defeated by the looming threat of Nippon, Orochi.

Although ferocious in appearance, Amaterasu is, in actuality, a kind and gentle soul whose only purpose is to aid those in need. She starts off with her original brush technique, Sunrise, which allows her to turn night into day and disperse any darkness foreboding.

Accompanying Amaterasu in her journeys is Issun, a vein and flirty Poncle from the village of Ponc’tan. Similar to what his grandfather, Ishaku, did for Shiranui, the traveling artist guides and aids Amaterasu all throughout her pursuit. Together, they overcome challenges to try and regain the Celestial goddess’s former powers to once again attempt to subdue the very foe that once bested her one hundred years back.

Solaire of Astora, a jolly knight, is a Warrior of Sunlight who purposefully became Undead so he could visit Lordran in his quest to find his own sun. Solaire is a skilled warrior who doesn't rely on special powers to win. He provides assistance to the player and engages in jolly cooperation. For successful co-op fights he rewards the player with Sunlight Medals because of his membership in the covenant. The player may join the Warriors of Sunlight after meeting certain requirements upon which they can gain the "Praise the Sun" gesture.
