1 item per order limit
Our website original code was made to take an order, receive a payment and shipment the order in one easy process. Problem is, we don't do that. There is a period between preorder and delivery where a plethora of different things can happen.
For example, a customer could cancel, change delivery address, early pay etc. All that is relatively ok. However, problems arise when multiple items in the cart that have different settings.
For example, you have 1 on a 12 month flexipay, 1 is in stock, 1 wants to be shipped now, and 2 that are the same SKU that is on a 6 month plan. Let's say that in that order, something changes to one of those items, it's difficult to handle. Let's, one of those items in that order is cancelled. We have to cancel the original order and make another one with the removed/cancelled SKU etc.
As a result, we have limited the ordering process so it's 1 item per order only. You can still order more of the same item, but it must be done in a separate order.
