MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Ever since our Alphonse Elric product launch, the support for Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in our Official Collectors Club has been through the roof. Fans have been very passionate about introducing newcomers to the world of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and most do agree that it is, indeed, worth diving into. Everyone has their own explanations for loving the anime, but these are our three reasons why we think you should watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood:
- The feels
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has a way of tugging at the viewers' emotions. If the writers and artists want you to laugh, they will guarantee that you snicker at even the silliest of moments. If they intend for you to weep, they won't just jerk a shed or two out of you (that scene above, in particular, is going to crush your heart into a million pieces). And, the series as a whole is very well-written that it never had to deviate or detract from the plot to serve its comical or sentimental purpose. I don't want to go into too much detail to avoid spoilers, but l suggest you prepare your snacks, pick your poison, prepare a box (or five) of tissue, and get ready for a 64-episode filler-free binge fest.
- Fleshed out character development
One of the typical shortcomings of shonen anime is the lack of character development for those that aren't under the limelight, and to a certain extent, it is but understandable considering the lengthy list of cast members of each series. However, despite introducing 20+ personalities all throughout, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood doesn't fall short of cultivating a viewer-character relationship with each and every one of them. Every fight scene and every dialogue inches you that much closer to everyone involved, and at the end of it all, you are never left wanting more out of a specific individual because all have already played their role exhaustively.
- Brotherly love
The bond between brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric is something else. From the very beginning up until the last seconds of the show, you are captivated by the kind of love and affection they have for one another, and it is almost impossible to not think of one without the other. Through thick and thin, the Elric brothers go hand-in-hand, which is why as early as now, even if pre-orders for our Alphonse Elric statue just opened, we've already begun development with Edward Elric. Longtime fans of the anime know that our inspiration for Alphonse Elric was from Episode 52 of the Brotherhood series, and we can't wait to reveal what we have in store for the true Fullmetal Alchemist!
That's all we have for now. Hopefully, this convinces some of you to jump onto the Brotherhood train. Our ALPHONSE ELRIC statue is still open for pre-orders until the 16th of November 2018. That still gives you plenty of time to decide whether or not you wish to support the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood line.
