Aku Aku Teaser Explained

The teasing has now come to a close and it is time to finally solve the Aku Aku riddle.

If you were able to watch this week's Friday Q&A with Chocks and A #46, it has been revealed that there will be a GOLDEN AKU AKU LIFE-SIZED REPLICA as well available for purchase!

Golden Aku Aku Mask

With all its golden glory finally unveiled, how does it relate to the Aku Aku teaser we posted a few weeks back? Let's have a look at the teaser, shall we:

“Six is afraid of seven because 7 eight 9.”

Does the statement really mean something, or is it just how the sentence looks that we should be paying close attention to?

What do you notice about that statement? Why are “7” and “9” the only ones in their numbered forms? There are two sevens, but why is it just the one that is in its number form? There’s obviously something more to this “7” and “9” that meets the eye.

Six is afraid of seven because 7 eight 9.”

Now, we didn’t announce this one but we sneaked in another hint in our blog, “Aku Aku Teaser: Not What You Thought“. Was anyone able to catch it?

“The anticipation coming into tomorrow’s lAunch is too unbearable.”

Do you notice anything about this sentence? Was “lAunch” a typographical error, or was it written in this form intentionally?

The anticipation coming into tomorrow’s lAunch is too unbearable.”

Okay, let’s have a look at what we have:

79 Au

Is it starting to look familiar to you guys?

Gold Chemical Symbol

That's right, "79 Au" represents the Atomic Number and Chemical Symbol of GOLD from the Periodic Table of Elements, respectively. *mind blown*
