JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a wildly popular Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It made its debut on Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump on 10 August 1987, was transferred to the company's monthly Ultra Jump beginning tankōbon volume 85 on 4 August 2005, and currently consists of 123 tankōbon volumes as of 19 October 2018. The series is presently ongoing and is on its eighth arc, with each arc following the story of a Joestar family member and their quest in defeating their supernatural enemies.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure remains to be one of Weekly Shōnen Jump's best-selling titles of all-time and has surpassed the 100 million copies mark in December of 2016, just in time for the series' 30^th anniversary the year after. The anime adaptation, on the other hand, is currently airing and follows the story of the fifth arc of the manga series.
